How do you describe to someone the finest, whitest, purest sand that feels like powder through your toes? How do you conjure up an image of the most exquisite bay, coated in flawless water and umpteen shades of pale blue?

Whitehaven Beach is known all over the world for its unwavering beauty. Float dreamily over seven kilometres of silica sand beach, swim with the fish, lie in the diamond-studded sunshine and watch the boats bob cheerfully at anchor. A variety of sailing companies also offer multi-day charters that include a memorable visit to Whitehaven Beach in addition to stops to the outer Great Barrier Reef. Seaplanes and helicopters also visit the area offering stunning views from the sky.

This is certainly my number one pick, and visiting is even better. So fine and white and the water is a stunning colour.

Just visited white have 3 weeks ago, and would have to be one of the most beautiful beaches i have ever seen. my 6 year old could not believe how white the sand was, and how the sand was so fine it squeeked when he walked.

Recently visited this majestic spot. Both my children and my wife, along with myself, fell in love with this beach upon first sighting it and have vowed to return ASAP!!!

Torquoise water, white sand and water like your bath tub. Have been there several times and the image as you come around the corner in your boat will blow your mind every time.

Would have to be the best island spot I've been to. Great tour, white beach and memorable time.
