This would have to be Australia's most pristine and unspoiled beach which is a must visit when you are in the Whitsundays.

Whitehaven beach in one word....breathtaking! A wave of freedom and relaxation came across me as I stood on the white soft sand looking out to the most incredible blue ocean.

This would have to be the most beautiful beach I have ever experienced. The sand is incredibly white and cool and absolutely great to walk on. The water is as clear and blue as you will ever see anywhere. Do yourself a favour and make sure you experience Whitehaven Beach - try the Ocean Rafting as well - what a thrill.

I have lived in Mackay for 8 years and still haven't made it to Whitehaven. My daughter recently went there with friends from school and said it was beautiful.

This is the most beautiful beach and accessing it by sailing boat is the best way to go! I would highly recommend it.

Whitehaven is definately a must see, particularly if visited via the Banjo Paterson Sailing Ship during an all day sail. The crew is excellent and the ship is a lot of fun.
