Relax at a Farmstay or B&B

Get there by train Get there by road Accommodation

Enjoy the simple pleasures of life in South East Queensland with a relaxing stay in a country Bed & Breakfast or Farmstay.

How would your children like to participate on a working farm, feeding the goats, ducks, chickens and geese, or collecting the eggs? I bet they would delight in some time playing on the haystacks, milking the cows and riding the ponies.

Throughout the Great South East’s rolling hills, unwind at a cattle farm, working dairy property, or delightful renovated barn. Picture a quaint cottage with high ceilings and antique furniture where you can quietly read your book on an open verandah in front of mountain views.

Fish from a private jetty, swim in a mountaintop pool, canoe, or play a round of bush golf among the kangaroos and cockatoos. Out here it’s all about nature, relaxation and hearty home-cooked meals.

Getting there:

South East Queensland extends from Noosa to the Gold Coast and extends westwards through the Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Toowoomba.

By train:

Combine your rail journey with a stay at one of the farm stays or B&B's.   To book your rail adventure call Traveltrain Holidays on 1800 627 655.

What a wonderful way for us city-dwellers to get out of town, relax, and see our beautiful country

In this world of fear and closed doors....to visit this world, with our children and for them to have the freedom to roam was priceless.
