This sounds like it would put the adventure back in your life, looks thrilling and a tad scary!

Some people say that if you’ve seen one jungle you’ve seen them all, but chances are you haven’t seen the 135million-year-old Daintree rainforest from this position.
At Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours, Cape Tribulation, you can snap into a harness and helmet and fly through the world’s most ancient and primitive jungle, more than 20metres off the forest floor. There are five raised platforms where you will be secured to a zip-line before taking to the air flying-fox-style with the longest stretch of fun spanning more than 75metres.
No doubt the session will start tentatively as you step off into the treetops but guaranteed by the final platform you will have the confidence to soar through the treetops, upside down.
Anyone from 3years upwards with reasonable levels of mobility can jungle surf and adventures can be continued into the evening with guided night walks along the forest floor. May to September is the most popular time to travel to the Daintree.
Getting there:
Cape Tribulation is approximately 137km north of Cairns. Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours pick up from any Cape Tribulation Resort or from the Cape Tribulation Pharmacy.
By train:
Catch The Sunlander or Tilt Train to Cairns. Cape Tribulation is located 3 hours drive from Cairns. Take your car on holiday with you when travelling onboard The Sunlander using Mototrail. To book your rail adventure call Traveltrain Holidays on 1800 627 655.
