Being wined, dined and entertained, as well as being able to relax and watch such beautiful and interesting scenery go by, sounds like the idyllic way of travelling to any long-distance destination. I'm looking forward to doing this in the near future.

What an amazing train. Even if you can't afford the Queenslander Class, it's still much better than a regular train trip. It's a "Must Do"

Last year,a friend and I travelled on the Ghan and when her husband was alive they travelled Queenslander class up to Cairns, since then I have wanted to do the same . Have travelled on the Tilt train to Bundaberg and that was great but I can't afford to do the Queenslander Class journey,so I dream.

My husband and I make this trip once a year, and we love to just sit back and watch the scenery as the train makes its way to Cairns. It is the best way to travel.
