I hope they have tomato sauce made with some of Bowen's famous tomatoes to go along with the pie.

Everyone loves a break. Some are just bigger than others and the quiet seaside township of Bowen had a cracker when Hollywood came to town and turned Bowen into "Bowenwood".
Transformed into the main location for Baz Luhrmann's latest epic movie, Australia, starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, the people of Bowen held their breath as Hollywood heavies paraded up and down.
Basking in the glow of A-list celebrities and film crews, Bowen residents embraced their good fortune putting up welcoming signs and creative marketers went to work with stars in their eyes.
Stop in at Jochheim’s Pies in Bowen’s main street for a Jackman Special - a hunky Aussie Beef pie - or a Baz Baguette and Kidmango Cheesecake. Owners Paddy and Jayne O'Regan proudly display the towns history over the pie shop walls.
But it will have to move over to make room for the latest pages in Bowen’s book of life. It’s not every day that moviestars come to town and 600 head of cattle shuffle past the pie shop front door.
Getting there:
Jochheim’s Pies, 49 George St, Bowen. Bowen is located 1157km north of Brisbane and easily accessed by road and rail.
By train:
