Get there by train Get there by road Accommodation

Purling Brook Falls plunges 100m to a palm filled gorge, decorated with tree ferns and spear lilies. From the Best of All Lookout you can draw in the breathtaking views over northern New South Wales.

Enveloping the Springbrook Plateau, Springbrook National Park is a nature lover’s paradise with beautiful bushwalks ranging from 700m to a more substantial 17km hike, the most popular being the 4km Purlingbrook Falls circuit. Within the Natural Bridge section a unique rock arch over Cave Creek has formed by millions of years of flowing water. A 1km rainforest walk will take you to see the natural bridge where Cave Creek plunges through an eroded hole to a cavern below.

At night take the 3km trail through the rainforest to marvel at one of Australia’s largest glow worm colonies.

Springbrook is a stunning natural world with some of the most awe inspiring walks and wildlife. A natural beauty in contrast to the glitz and glam of the Gold Coast

A great day trip or even better for a camping weekend!! Lovely walks, waterfalls and wildlife! The natural arch is interesting and a good spot to find glow worms!

Wow!!! I love that this unique place has made it on to the 150 Must Do's...We have been taking Year 5's camping near here for many years and the children love it. They love the night walk to the glow worms and the day bush walks. It is beautiful and well worth a day and night visit!

What a great surprise that we have our own version of the Blue Mountains right here in Queensland. How come I hadn't heard about it for the 20 years that we've lived here? The walks in that area are fantastic too, very scenic, and wonderful accomodation options.
