Cool down at a Water Park

Get there by train Get there by road Accommodation

Apparently its a 28second magic carpet ride that would leave Aladdin begging for mercy, so you better hold on tight on the Super Tubes HydroCoaster. These back-to-back turns and loops are nothing like youve experienced before.

WhiteWater World prides itself on using cutting edge technology to deliver thrills for all ages and with rides, slides and pools heated during winter, its a great place to enjoy at any time of the year. Hurtle down a 120metre tentacle, accelerate from a 75metre tunnel to a 15metre funnel before literally dropping out, or kick back and catch a wave at the Cave of Waves. The littlies will also be impressed by Wiggle Bay and the Nickelodeon Pipeline Plunge.

Nearby WetnWild Water World have another set of thrills. On the edge of innovation and design technology Kamikaze will blow you out of the water. Ride it if you dare, reaching exhilarating speeds of up to 50km/h as you fly in forward and reverse motions in an extreme thrill experience including a zero gravity sensation.

Other sensations in their extreme H2O Zone include Tornado, Blackhole and Mach 5. After the rush, settle down on a tube in the Giant Wave Pool or lounge on a deckchair for a DiveinMovie.

Getting there:

Coomera and Oxenford on the Gold Coast are approximately 20mins north of Surfers Paradise and 40mins south of Brisbane. The Gold Coast is easily accessed by rail, road or air.

I visited Wet and Wild last weekend in a group booking with my family. There were 21 in our group. The weather wasn't great but we were there from 10.00am to 9.00pm - what a great (although tiring) day out. The group booking rate offered fantastic value for money $29.00 for everyone. We were able to take our own food and this saved us considerably. Look forward to going again next year.

Having recently moved to Queensland from Tasmania with a teenage daughter, the water parks are one of our most popular spots to visit. My daughter has an annual pass and regular visits with her friends for the dive-in movies

This is such a great day out with family or friends. You'll have so much fun and a whole day to cut loose in a water park what better idea in summer in Queensland.

White Water World is brilliant! The green room is unreal, but overall this park would have to be the best waterpark on the gold coast. There is room to move, the staff are great, a real family park for all ages. Keep up the good work, you deserve to win this campaign.
