A great place to spend numerous hours lost in craft.

Under the colossal arms of giant fig trees over 600 stalls set up each Wednesday and Saturday for an experience that has grown to be Australia’s largest market.
Instantly you are seduced by the colours, smells, vibrancy and festival feel radiating from every isle and passageway of the Eumundi Market. View artworks and sculptures by local artists. Taste home-made lemonade, freshly baked breads, locally grown produce and fresh seasonal fruit. Have your face painted, your palm read or indulge in a foot massage.
When you need a break from the shopping there's plenty of local talent to keep you entertained. Listen to the diverse music of the electronic didgeridoo and bongo drums or traditional bush poetry and street theatre.
Asian, Mediterranean and classic Australian cuisine will tempt your taste buds and satisfy your appetite. And don't forget the local restaurants and traditional pubs dotted around the historical township of Eumundi.
Getting there:
Eumundi Markets, Memorial Drive. Eumundi is located 120km north of Brisbane and easily accessed by road or rail. Train services operate from Brisbane to Nambour then transfer to a connecting bus to Eumundi.
Further information:
The Eumundi markets are on every Wednesday and Saturday, rain, hail or shine.

These markets have been a big attraction for my family. When my sister and I were younger my parents use to day trip there with us and we never left with out having dutch pancakes. Now that we are older we take our friends there and don't leave without a boot full of bargains. It is always worth the drive even when we come home wet and covered in mud. IT IS A MUST DO
