The annual Cloncurry Stockman’s Challenge is one of Australia’s greatest horse events and has been described as the Melbourne Cup of bush horsemanship. Held annually in July, this is arguably the nation’s top performance event, drawing the country’s best stockmen who travel from all over the country to vie for the prize money and esteemed titles. Amid fierce competition the countries highest-ranking competitors battle it out with pride and professionalism, putting themselves and their horses to the ultimate tests, displaying the highest abilities in Australian Horsemanship.
As a spectator, there is plenty of daytime drafting and cutting action. Don’t miss the bull and bronc ride with guaranteed thrills and spills to entertain you.
