Getting there:

The Daintree Rainforest starts approximately two hours north of Cairns.

By train:

Catch The Sunlander or Tilt Train to Cairns. Hire a car and drive 2 hours north to the Daintree Rainforest. Many tour operators operate out of Cairns and Port Douglas into the Daintree Rainforest. The best time of year to travel is the dry season from April to October.
