Brunch on Hastings St, Noosa

Get there by train Get there by road Accommodation

Float down Hastings Street Noosa, on any given morning and you will see the finest example of a quote from Leonardo Da Vinci “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”.

Outside alfresco restaurants the stylish blend seamlessly with the casual, the trendy with the laid back, and there is no reason why you shouldn’t sit and join this leisurely set, all doing “brunch”.

Choose a casual but elegant restaurant along the sea, dine on the freshest of local produce and listen only to the soft waves breaking against the shore. You’ll fit in perfectly when you finally look at your watch and realise its way after lunch. You can even sail in on a private gondola after cruising the canals behind Hastings Street.

If you can draw yourself away, wander the chic boutique shops and discover the beaches, rivers and some of Queensland’s most picturesque coastline in Noosa National Park. Walk around the scenic headland and spot koalas in the treetops along the way.

For the serious walkers the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk extends 58km through the Blackall Range and can be done over a period of 4-6days. Of course you can also take it easy and take half-day or full-day strolls.

Getting there:

Noosa is located 140km north of Brisbane.

Yes, it is a must do when visiting beautiful Noosa! The food is great, as is the beach and National Park (and Massimo ice cream, on Hastings St, is the best ice cream in the world!!!!!)
