Thousands of people come from all over the world to visit Queensland each year. Why..?

Because our scenery is breathtaking. Because our people are friendly. Because our history is unique. And because our state is jam-packed full of exciting things to see and do.

Queensland is an amazing state. It doesn't matter how old you are or what you're interested in, there's something for everyone. The possibilities are endless - you just need to know what they are and which you'll do first!

In celebration of our state's 150th birthday, we launched 150 Must-Do's in Queensland to showcase 150 of these fabulous experiences and provide you with an opportunity to share your opinion on what you think is the best. We also asked you to recommend other great spots you enjoy visiting so people who are thinking about traveling in Queensland have a expert guide to what they shouldn't miss.

The response we received was overwhelming. From 18 November to 31 January, more than 120,000 people visited this website, registering 150,000 votes and leaving thousands of comments telling us about their favorite. We also received numerous suggestions for other must-do experiences not on the list, but definitely worth checking out.

We were looking for passionate Queenslanders who love their state and we found them. Thank you to everyone for sharing your experiences with us and showing your pride for Queensland.

Queensland turns the big 1-5-0 this year and there is no better time to get out and explore your own backyard than now. So next time you, your friends or your family are planning a holiday, make sure it's in Queensland. After all, our state is beautiful one day and perfect the next.
